six months is a long fucking time

today, it’s been six months since my diagnosis, but it feels like it has been much, much longer than that. i am thankful for modern medical science and my doctors and nurses. i am thankful for all y’all’s love and support. i am thankful for my cats. most of all, i am thankful for Carol; thank you for taking such good care of me.
